Rita R. (Legare) SanSouci

Rita R. SanSouci 95, formerly of Woonsocket, died January 5, 2018 at Cortland Place in Greenville. She was the wife of the late Horace R. SanSouci Jr and longtime companion of the late Frank Roberts. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Rina (Tancrelle) Legare. Rita was a supervisor for the former Uni-Royal Company for over thirty years, before retiring. She loved spending her winters in Florida and was an avid world traveler.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia R. Leclair of Woonsocket, daughter-in-law Susan SanSouci of N. Smithfield, four grandchildren, Roger Leclair and his wife MaryLynn of Chepachet, Ryan R. Leclair of Woonsocket, Bryan SanSouci and his wife Heidi of Manchester, NH, and Danny SanSouci and his wife Karen of Cumberland, and great-grandchildren, Nicole, Kelsey, Sara, Eddy, Adam, Julia, Brittany, Bekka, Bryan, Michael, and Matthew. She was predeceased by her son Horace “Harry” SanSouci, and brothers Armand, Roland, and Raymond Legare.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.
