I was watching CSpan and a young man with the same last name was speaking regarding Kavanaugh's hearing. It reminded me of Raymond. Upon googling I found this obituary which would correspond with same age as me. We served in the Navy together in Japan. If this is Raymond you have my sincere condolences. He was a pleasure to serve with during the 1950s.

We will be forever grateful being a part of your family. We have many memories of Ray and all of you that are kept in our minds and will always be attached to our hearts. Ray was always entertaining at gatherings and comforting in our times of sorrow. I'm happy to have recently spent some time with him and get a little smooch from him as well! It's nice to know that his last few memories included the card games with my folks. He has our prayers as well as for you, Jeannine, Val and Guy and your families. Love to all of you.
