Florence R. (Chevrette) Brodeur

Florence R. Brodeur 94, formerly of Clinton St. died September 15, 2017 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Raymond Brodeur. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Flora (Boucher) Chevrette. Flo worked as a clerk at the former Social Department Store for several years retiring forty four years ago. She was a member and past secretary of the Kennedy Manor Club. She started the Kennedy Manor Prayer Group. Florence was a lector and altar server at the former St. Ann’s Church.

She is survived by her two sons Raymond O. Brodeur of Woonsocket, and Leo A. Brodeur of Palm Coast, FL, a sister Doris Beauregard of Lincoln, five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph, Leo, Omer, Albert, Aldor, and Theodore Chevrette.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are Thursday 4-7 PM.
