Claire L. (Cournoyer) Farquhar

Claire L. Farquhar 60, of Providence St. died November 17, 2017 at home. She was the beloved wife of Gerald K. Farquhar. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Cormier) Cournoyer. Claire was a supervisor for Northwest and Valley Transportation for over twenty years. She loved scratch tickets and shopping with her sister Linda.

Besides her sister she leaves two sons, Robert F. Darling Jr. and Gerald J. Darling, two daughters Dawn M. Limburg and Janet L. Lacroix, and a step daughter Hollie Farquhar all of Woonsocket, a brother Joseph Peloquin of NC, two sisters Debra Duarte and Linda Bergeron both of Woonsocket, twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Charles Church, North Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in the RI Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. Visiting Hours are Monday 4-7 PM.
