Wah "Terry" Chiu Chin

Wah "Terry" Chiu Chin 91, of Bellingham, MA, passed away peacefully in Hope Health Hospice Center in Providence, Friday, October 13, 2023. She was the wife of the late Ping Chack Chin. Wah was born in China a daughter of the late Oi Wai Choi. Along with her husband, she was the owner operator of China King Restaurant in Cumberland for over twenty-eight years. Later they would be the owner operators of Ping Chin’s Island in East Providence retiring in 1996. Wah was a member of the Chinese Christian Church of Pawtucket, RI for many years. She enjoyed singing, playing cards, traveling, family get togethers and spending time with friends at Twin River Casino in Lincoln. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children: Haygar Chin of Bellingham, Lenden Chin of North Smithfield, and Baye L. Chin of CA, and four grandchildren, Emma, Jaffer, Imran and Gary. She was predeceased by her two sons Gatgar and Wagar Chin of Bellingham MA. Her burial and Committal Service will be held Thursday, October 26th in the Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, 100 Harrison Ave, Warwick, RI 02888 at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
