Thomas A Carey

Thomas A. Carey 77, of Second Ave, passed away on April 28, 2024 at home. He was the husband of Rebecca (Young) Carey. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Milton and Florette (Trudel) Carey. Thomas was a truck driver for most of his life working for several area truck companies including Yellow Freight, New Penn, Red Star and B & W, retiring fifteen years ago. He was a member of the Cercle Laurier. Tom enjoyed bird watching and spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife he leaves four children, Thomas R. Carey of Kansas City, KS, Wayne H. Carey of St. Cloud, FL, Gail Carey of Melbourne, FL, and Scott Carey of Clayton, NC, six stepchildren, Shana Enos of NH, Douglas Sylcestre of Mansfield, MA, Kimberly Sylvestre of Cumberland, David Silva and Wayne Henshaw both of Woonsocket and Travis Henshaw of FL, seven siblings, Milton Carey of Mansfield, Clem Carey of North Smithfield, Harvey Carey of MI, George Carey of Cecile Carey, Simone Roderick and Annette Patrie all of FL, ten grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Committal prayers will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 1:00 PM at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery Chapel, Wrentham Rd. Bellingham, MA.
