Therese M. (Deragon) Vekeman

Therese M. Vekeman 70, of Halsey Rd. died February 3, 2018 at Joanne’s House of Hope in Florida. She was the wife of Francis Vekeman. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Aram and Grace (Paquette) Deragon. Therese was an assembler for U-Vechs for several years. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and motorcycle riding.

Besides her husband she leaves two brothers, Leo Deragon of Daytona, FL, and John Deragon of N. Kingstown; three sisters, Evelyn Deragon and Margaret Robidoux both of Woonsocket, and Joanne Gulley of Texas, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother Raymond Deragon.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday February 13, 2018 at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are Monday 6-8 PM.
