Therese P. (Ethier) Lauzon

Therese P. (Ethier) Lauzon 75, died Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Eugene Lauzon Jr. Terry was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Emile and Cecile (Plante) Ethier. She worked in many area textile mills throughout her working life, retiring in 1997. Terry enjoyed bingo and loved dancing and singing. For a time, she was known as the singing waitress at Ciro’s.

Terry is survived by her children: Eugene E. Lauzon of Woonsocket, Bonnie Joyal and her husband James of North Smithfield, Roberta Masi and her husband Michael of Johnston, Tammy Reed and her husband Michael of Fryeburg, ME, and Jeanne Gonzalez and her husband Cody of Woonsocket, seventeen grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, and her siblings Ida Connolly of Woonsocket, and Paulette Debatis of Bellingham. She was also the sister of the late Emile Ethier Jr and Doris Switzer.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Holy Trinity Church, Park Ave, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours will be Monday 5-7 pm.
