Therese C. (St. Germain) Tessier

Therese C. (St. Germain) Tessier 89, of Woonsocket, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving children. She was the wife of the late Leon J. Tessier Jr. Therese was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude (St. Amant) St. Germain. She worked at Tech Industries in Woonsocket for over twenty years and later worked for Travelers Transit as a bus monitor for many more years retiring at age 85. Therese loved her cats, enjoyed playing mahjong, shopping, and traveling. Most of all she adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Donald Tessier, Denise Guy and her husband Alan, and Susan Tessier-MacKenzie and her husband Ron, all of Woonsocket, her grandchildren Michelle and Alex, and great grandchildren, DJ, Tony, Tate and Olivia. Therese was also the mother of the late Michael Tessier and sister of the late Roland st. Germain and Vivian Gauthier.

Her funeral will be held in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, Tuesday, June 16, at 10:00 AM with a prayer service beginning at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours will be Monday 5-7 PM.

Burial will be private.
