Theresa L. (Bernier) Giguere

Theresa L. Giguere 95, of 303 Rhodes Ave. passed away on August 28, 2022, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Bellingham, MA she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Celina (Beausoleil) Bernier. She was the wife of the late George Giguere. Theresa was an assembler at General Electric for many years, she had previously worked at several area textile mills. Terry was a devote catholic, with a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother and prayed the rosary several times daily. She enjoyed doing crossword and word search puzzles and taking walks. Terry had a kind heart and will be missed by many.

She is survived by a son Gerald Giguere and his wife Susan of Bellingham; a daughter Diane Kabbas and her husband Joseph of Bocca Raton, FL; her niece and caregiver Rita Hines of Woonsocket; a sister Rina Dubois of Woonsocket; four grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Joseph Kabbas III, Naren Giguere and Rachel Giguere; three great-granddaughters, Elise, Natalie, and Kayle Kabbas and several nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by a son George R. Giguere and fourteen siblings.

Her funeral with visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
