Suzanne L. (Hebert) Barrette

Suzanne L. Barrette 79, formerly of Early Village Dr., Blackstone, passed away on May 4, 2025, at Overlook Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Richard Barrette. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Rita (Labreque) Hebert. Suzanne was a hairdresser for most of her life and worked at Yvette’s Hair Salon for many years. She was a former member of the Presentation of Mary Association and the Red Hat Ladies. Suzanne enjoyed knitting, the beach and going out to eat. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Suzanne is survived by her children Denise J. Rowan of Auburn MA, Dianne L. Barrette of North Smithfield, David R. Barrette of Smithfield, and Glenn A. Barrette of Coventry, siblings Francis J. Hebert of FL, Robert Hebert of Woonsocket, and a half-sister Nancy Kramer of FL, six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Suzanne was predeceased by her sister Jeannine Hand and half- brother Gary Ballou and half-sister Helene Kelley.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May13, 2025 at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket beginning at 10:00 AM with a service in the Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday May 12, 2025 from 4-6 PM.
