Shirley (Darling) Tyler

Shirley (Darling) Tyler 97, of Circleville, OH passed away on May 4, 2023. She was formerly of Wappingers Falls, NY and Bellingham, MA. Born on June 11, 1925 in Bellingham, she was a daughter of the late Fred S. and Gladys (Howes) Darling. She was the wife of the late Clifford M. Tyler. Shirley was a member of the Nathaniel Massie Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, the Goodtime Quilters, Community United Methodist Church and the Pickaway County Senior Center. Shirley enjoyed spending time with family and supporting them in their many activities. Knitting and reading were her favorite hobbies, along with bingo, cards, and dominoes with her Wyngate friends.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Sheryl Forte and husband Joe, son Jim Tyler and wife Sue, brother Warren Darling and wife Patricia, grandchildren, Jonathan Forte and wife Candice, Matthew Forte and wife Krista, Heather Maffia and husband Brian, Jessica Van Ness and husband Tom, and ten greatgrandchildren, and her brother Warren Darling and his wife Pat. Besides her husband and parents, Shirley was predeceased by a sister Ruth and brother David.

Her funeral and burial will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 with a service at 11:00 AM in the Cook Cemetery, Cumberland Hill Rd. in Woonsocket. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com to send condolences.
