Rose A (Landry) Gilson

 Rose A. Gilson 76, of Manville Hill Rd., Cumberland, passed away on July 19, 2023, at Fatima Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Gilson III. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Theresa (Ciccone) Landry. Rose was a full-time homemaker caring for her family. She enjoyed music, dancing and going to the beach, she also loved food and going out to eat.

She is survived by her daughters, Dawn M. Ouellette and her husband David of Bellingham, and Rachel Gilson and her husband Steven Gill of Springfield, MA, her sister Carol Landry and her husband Joseph Susi of Cumberland, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Kelly Ann Campbell, and siblings Walter Landry, Joanne Laferriere, and Arlene Fenner.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, with a prayer service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Slatersville. Visiting hours are Monday, July 24, 2023 from 5-8 PM.
