Ronald Descy Obituary

Ronald E. Descy 67, passed away Thursday April 23, 2026 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence. He was born in Woonsocket the son of Mary Lapointe of Woonsocket. Ron was a US Army veteran, and later worked for Bonnollo Meats for many years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hiking and bike riding.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters: Gloria Solecki, Beth Roy, Jessica Lapointe, and Jennifer Lapointe all of Woonsocket, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Anita Descy.

At the request of the family, all services will be private.
