Ronald DeCubellis Obituary

Ronald DeCubellis 83, of Atria, Lincoln Place passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at home. He was the beloved husband of Florence DeCubellis. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Domenic and Norma (Ciffo) DeCubellis. Ron was an Army veteran stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Quality Control Engineer for General Electric Base Plant for over thirty years where he made lifelong friends.

Ron most enjoyed playing golf, baseball and in later years softball on a senior league alongside his brother Ken. All Ron ever wanted was to put a smile on the face of everyone he met. The faces of children brought him great joy; he loved all children.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his brother Ken and his wife Gloria of Woonsocket, his daughters Lisa Boni and her husband David of Cumberland, and Beth Dominguez of Valrico, FL, five grandchildren: Ron, Brianna, Charissa, Marco, and Isabella, four great grandchildren: Lorenzo, Aria, Carmella, and Gia and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

His funeral will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM in St. James Church, Manville. The family will receive guests in the entrance to the church at 9:30. Burial will take place in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA at a later date and will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to: Tribute Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
