Ronald H. Bennett 65, of Woonsocket, passed away on March 29, 2025. He was the husband of Suzanne (Lambol) Bennett. Born in El Paso, TX, he was a son of the late Eldon and Denise (Gravel) Bennett. Ronald worked in construction for most of his life. Ron served in the US Army. He enjoyed playing pool and riding his motorcycle. Ron also collected anything to do with wolves. He was a member of the Amvets Post 7, American Legion Post 85, VFW 6342 and the DAV. Ron was also a member of the Cercle Laurier, the Italian Working Man’s Club and the Lafayette Club.
Besides his wife he leaves three children, Frederick Raymond of Woonsocket, Michelle Ladieu of Whitinsville, MA and Danielle Bennett of Sutton, MA, two brothers Albert and Armand Dauphinais both of Woonsocket, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ronald was predeceased by his siblings Normand and Moe Dauphinais and Vivian Minot and grandchild Heylie Ladieu.
His funeral will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-8 PM.
