Rollande (Gaudreau) Bastien

Rollande (Gaudreau) Bastien 96, formerly of Monica Dr., Cumberland, died Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Friendly Home in Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert T. Bastien. Born in Drummondville, PQ Canada, she was a daughter of the late Romeo and Rose-Anna (Montminy) Gaudreau. Rollande was a graduate of the Finan’s Pawtucket School of Science Beauty Culture. She also worked for Donley Manufacturing Co. in North Attleboro, MA for several years.

Mrs. Bastien is survived by her sister Murielle Plante of Attleboro, MA and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Yvette Zagrodny, Rosa Parenteau, Claire L’Heureux, Paul and Gerald Gaudreau. The family would like to thank the amazing and compassionate staff at the Lighthouse in Lincoln where she made her home for almost ten years, for the tremendous care they gave her. And also to thank the care givers of Beacon Hospice and the Friendly Home where she lived before her passing. Anyone that knew Rollande would say she was a kind and giving person with a heart of gold.
