Roland A. Tardie Jr.

Roland A. Tardie Jr. 55, of Unity St., died December 25, 2018 at home. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Lucille Y. (Leduc) Tardie of Burrillville and the late Roland A. Tardie Sr. Roland was employed by Winn Residential for fourteen years, the last four years as the maintenance supervisor at Waterview Apartments. He was also a Personal Care Attendant. Roland loved his motorcycle. He had a big heart and enjoyed spending time with his family and helping others.

Besides his mother, Roland is also survived by his two sisters, Theresa Stelmach of Pascoag and Michelle Fortune of Mapleville, a nephew, Michael Tardie, and nieces, Sarah Brown and Melissa Lee. He was the cherished best friend for twenty seven years of Donna Viens and her daughter Hilarie.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. from 4-7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa’s Church, followed by burial in the St. Theresa’s Cemetery.
