Roger J. Trudeau 93, of Woonsocket passed away on February 27, 2023 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Huguette (Simard) Trudeau and the late Dorothy (Auger) Trudeau. Roger was the last of twelve children born to the late Albert and Roseanna (Cullerton) Trudeau. Roger was a mason and construction worker for most of his life, and worked in the maintenance department of Eastland Bank for over twenty years. He enjoyed woodworking and building clocks, especially grandfather clocks.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children: Raymond Trudeau and his wife Jeannette of NY, Bruce Trudeau of N. Smithfield, Robert Trudeau of Woonsocket, Deborah Trudeau of Blackstone and Nancy Dexter and her husband Wilbert of VA, eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He was also the grandfather of the late Jenna Trudeau and the late Mark Dexter.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, March 7, at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 So. Main St, Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. John Vianney Church, Cumberland, RI. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours will be Monday 5-7 pm.
