Roger A Paquette Sr.

Roger A. Paquette Sr. 70, of Tupperware Drive passed away on May 26, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Roland Paquette and Doris (Roberge) Maurice. Roger was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He worked as a correctional officer for the ACI for several years and then worked as a machinist.

Roger was known for his generous spirit, love of life, and sense of humor. Roger loved the ocean and was always the first to volunteer to load up the car with his granddaughters and their friends and head to the beach. He loved spending time with family and his granddaughters were his pride and joy.  

He is survived by his son Roger A. Paquette Jr and his wife, Erika, of Jamestown and granddaughters, Caleigh and Marah. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Paquette.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 4:30-6:30PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will be held Wednesday June 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. James Cemetery in Manville.
