Roger F. Morisseau

Roger F. “Moose” Morisseau 75, formerly of The Meadows in North Smithfield, passed away Thursday, July 8 in RI Hospital. He was the husband of the late Claudette (Groleau) Morisseau. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Herve and Constance (Neveu) Morisseau. He is survived by his daughter Margaux Morisseau and her partner Alan Leclaire of Woonsocket, his son Jason Morisseau and his wife Sandra of Huntington, VT, and his granddaughter Avery. He is also survived by his siblings: Gerald Morisseau and his wife Eleanor of Narragansett, Jeanne Burns of Methuen, MA, John Morisseau and his wife Paula of Dallas, GA, Peter Morisseau and his wife Anne-Marie of Burrillville, Marc Morisseau and his partner Sylvia of Heath, TX, Neil Wood and his partner Ellen of Hingham, MA, and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Roger worked in auto sales for Rotatori Auto in Bellingham for many years. He was an animal lover, a great cook and the life of every party. He greeted everyone with a smile and always had a joke ready to make all those around him laugh.

The celebration of his life will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:00 am at Fournier and Fournier, 463 South Main Street, Woonsocket with a prayer and remembrance service beginning at 10:45. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
