Roger H. Leclerc, 78 of North Smithfield passed away on December 22, 2020 at Mt. St. Rita Health Centre. He was the husband of Elaine (Dessert) Leclerc for forty-six years. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Henry and Gertrude (Lepine) Leclerc. Roger was a sanitation engineer for P & C Enterprises and BFI for many years. He later worked maintenance for Mt. St. Rita Health Centre for six years until retiring. In his younger years he loved bowling on a league and later he enjoyed Wii Bowling. Roger loved nature and climbed Mt. Washington in NH at the age of 50. He enjoyed gambling and was a great fan of the “Rocky” movies. He was loved by all who knew him, and he touched everyone with his great sense of humor. “If Roger was in the room, someone was laughing”.
Besides his wife he leaves a son Alan Leclerc and his partner Jenny Young of North Smithfield, two daughters Tammy Garneau and her husband Kevin of Lincoln, and Megan Leclerc and her partner Christopher Plante of Lincoln, a brother Robert Leclerc of Sebastian FL, a sister Lucille Ouellette of Woonsocket, and eight grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Normand Leclerc.
