Roger Jean Forbes

Roger J. Forbes 84, of School St. N. Smithfield, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Landmark Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Rita M. (Charest) Forbes-Danese and step-son of the late J. B. Danese. Roger was an engineer in California where he resided for many years. He was a Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Roger was a book enthusiast and possessed a very large collection. He enjoyed spending time watching tennis on TV. Roger is survived by many cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 10:00AM at Divine Mercy Church, St. Paul St. Blackstone, MA. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
