Roger R. Dubois 87, of Smithfield passed away on December 9, 2022, at Bayberry Commons surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Jeanne (Pincince) Dubois. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Lionel Dubois and Aline (Gariepy) Amarant. Roger was a supervisor for the former Zayre Corporation for fifteen years. He served as a Boy Scout Leader for many years. Roger enjoyed woodworking, square dancing with Jeanne and traveling.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Diane Clancy and her husband Daniel of Mapleville, and Lisa Adler and her husband Chris of Greenville, a brother Normand Dubois of Uxbridge, two sisters Lorraine Brunelle of North Smithfield and Claudette Coughlin of Woonsocket, eight grandchildren, Melanie, Lindsey, Ryan, Samantha, Katie, Jessica, Lauren, and Caroline and eleven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son David Beaudet.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 in his memory would be appreciated.
