Roger Y Baril

Roger Y. Baril 96, of Lansdowne Rd. passed away on July 13, 2025, at the Greenwood Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Carriere) Baril. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Ernest and Florence (Morel) Baril. Roger was the owner and operator of the former Roline’s Furniture Store in Blackstone for thirty years. Roger is survived by his daughters Diane Thompson of Warwick, Paulette Champion of Woonsocket, and Ann Marie Gautreau of Harrisville, sisters, Jacqueline Savaria, Pauline Rainone, and Julie Hudon, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings Joseph Norman Baril, Madeleine Jarret, Lucien Baril and Andre Baril. Roger was a devoted father and grandfather and an integral part of his grandchildren’s lives.  He loved Maine and spent many summer family vacations in Old Orchard Beach.

His funeral with visitation will be held July 25, 2025, at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket from 10:00AM – 12:00 Noon. Burial will be private.
