Robert A. Rondeau, age 84, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at St. Antoine Residence. He was lovingly surrounded by his family at his bedside. He was the beloved husband of M. Pauline Rondeau, they were married for sixty-one years. Bob was born in Woonsocket on December 28, 1938, to the late Arthur and Berthe (Cedras) Rondeau. He was a graduate of Bellingham High School, Nichols College, and Bryant College. He honorably served his country in the US Navy from 1956 to 1959, serving aboard the USS Forrestal. Bob was a retired police officer for the City of Woonsocket.
Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Dr. Jeffrey A. Rondeau of Fargo, ND and his grandson, Jeffrey A. Rondeau II of Kansas City, MO.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Antoine Residence Chapel, 10 Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, RI. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Slatersville, RI.
