Robert J. Laprade

Robert J. Laprade 86, of Mendon Rd. passed away on December 30, 2021, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the loving husband of Claire (Mercier) Laprade.  Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Brouillette) Laprade. Bob was a stock controller for Dennison Manufacturing for over thirty years. He was a very active member of Field of Dreams with the Senior Softball League and also participated in several different sports.

Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Donald R. Laprade of Woonsocket, Jean-Paul Laprade of North Smithfield, and Dr. Andre Laprade of Lincoln. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Angela Lambert, Timothy Laprade, David Laprade, Stephen Laprade, Elizabeth Laprade and Alex Laprade, and great-grandchildren, Everett, Eloise, Jacob, Daniel, Margie, Peter, and James.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. A private burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
