Robert H. Cotnoir 97, of Woonsocket, RI and Winter Haven, FL, passed away September 28, 2021, at home. He was the husband of the late Theresa (Dumas) Cotnoir. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Emile and Anna (Marks) Cotnoir Sr. Bob served in the US Air Force during WWII. He was the owner /operator of W & S Laundry for forty years. He was a communicant of the former Sacred Heart Church and a very active parishioner. Bob and his wife Theresa love riding motorcycles and took many road trips. At the young age of 92 Bob decided to take up an instrument and taught himself how to play the organ. Neighbors would sit in the front yard and listen to him play.
He is survived by his son Wayne Cotnoir of Oakland Park, FL, a brother Paul Cotnoir of Woonsocket, a sister Anna Mae Viens of MA, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Dean, a great-grandson CJ, and brothers, Russell, Donald, Vincent, Leonard, Raymond, Emile, and Earl Cotnoir.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St Charles Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting hours are Monday 5-7 PM.
