Robert W. Charron 88, of Campeau St. passed away on December 10, 2024, in Clearwater, FL, where he resided in the winter months. Bob was the husband of Louise (Renaud) Charron. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Ernest and Deliance (Bibeault) Charron. Bob was a salesman for Wise Potato Chip for twenty-one years. After he retired, he worked part time as a maintenance person for the former Our Lady of Victories Church and St. Ann’s Church. Bob was a 1955 graduate of Mt. St. Charles Academy and an Air Force Veteran.
Besides his wife he leaves his children, Christine Carr and Celeste Lanctot both of Woonsocket, Robert Charron Jr. of Florida, and Celine Lovett of New Hampshire, ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Roger Charron.
His funeral with visitation will be held Friday, January 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, RI, with a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
