Rita (Lavallee) Gagne

Rita Gagne 89, of Elder Ballou Meeting House Rd. died May 19, 2021 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. She was the wife of the late Bertrand R. Gagne. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Damase and Aurore (Couture) Lavallee. Rita worked for Uni-Royal for twenty- two years, she also worked for Mark Stevens for eight years before retiring in 1993. Rita enjoyed her ceramic classes which she took for twenty-five years. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Rita will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters Lynn Lahousse and Robin Barbrie both of Woonsocket, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Adrien, Oscar, Roland, and Gerard Lavallee and Solange “Sally” Ershock.

A Committal Service and burial will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
