Richard R. Brin 63, of Arona St. passed away on December 9, 2024, at Landmark Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late George E. and Lucille H. (Brousseau) Brin. Richard was an auto body mechanic and worked for several area auto body repair shops including Forbes Auto Body for over twenty years, RK Auto Body for ten years, and several years at Hometown Auto Body and Classic Hassock. He had also worked for Carriere’s Upholstery and Refinishing Inc. Richard was and all-around handyman and could do anything he set his mind to, but his greatest enjoyment was working on cars.
Richard is survived by his daughters Stephanie Brin and Christine Brin both of Woonsocket, his sisters, Therese Bellerose and her husband Robert, Rachel Brin and Denise Brin all of Woonsocket and Louise Carriere and her husband Richard of North Smithfield, and three grandchildren, Trenton, Demetri and Carter. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Brin.
His funeral will be held Friday, December 13, 2024, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. A private burial will be held at a later date. Visiting hours are Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 4-7 PM.
