Rene G. Payette Jr

Rene G. Payette Jr. 71, of Diamond Hill Rd. passed away on February 24, 2026. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Rene G. and Muriel (Lambert) Payette Sr. Rene was a Registered Agent with the Cannabis Control Commission in MA and worked for DDM Cannabis in Bellingham. Rene graduated from Mt. St. Charles Academy in 1973 and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Maine. He was a member and past President of the Millerville Men’s Club. Rene was a great softball player and played in various leagues throughout his life.  

Rene is survived by his aunts and uncles, Roger Payette and his wife Jacqueline, Gerard Payette, Muriel Marcos and her husband John, Eileen Faford and her husband Richard, Pauline Bileau, and Suzanne Dumont, and many cousins. He will be sadly missed by his employer Andrew Piston and his wife Emily and all his coworkers.
