Raymond H. Roy

Raymond H. Roy 92, passed away peacefully, Friday October 13, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline M. (Beaupre) Roy. He was born in Fulton, NY, a son of the late Ernest and Melanie (Morin) Roy. Ray was a Registered Pharmacist and was the co-owner and operator of Beaupre’s Pharmacy in Woonsocket, working alongside his wife Jackie for over forty years. Ray also spent a great deal of his time studying health and nutrition to better serve his customers at the pharmacy. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Jackie on her many “painting excursions”. He loved spending time with his family and cooking for them, especially at Spring Lake. Ray is survived by his children: Arthur Roy and his wife Claire of Woonsocket, Christopher Roy and his wife Debra of Kingston, MA, Suzanne Laferriere and her husband Henry of Chester, SC, and Lise Paille and her husband Ronald of Uxbridge, MA, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and his sister Dorothy Roy of Warren, RI. He was also the brother of the late Normand Roy. His funeral with visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 9:30 AM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Good Help Church, Mapleville, RI.
