Rachel (Lamoureux) Finlayson

Rachel D. (Lamoureux) Finlayson 73, of Blackstone, MA passed away on April 17, 2023. Born in Putnam, CT, on July 6, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Ovila H. and Rita M. (Ferland) Lamoureux. Rachel worked many various jobs throughout the years including JSB Yarns and Medfield State Mental Health Hospital. She finished her long career working for Tedeschi’s Gas Station in Franklin, MA. She is survived by two loving sons, Corey Finlayson of Vermont and Justin Finlayson of Providence, RI; a beloved grandson Riley Pratt Finlayson whom she cherished dearly. Rachel also leaves her sister Suzanne Chevrette and Claire Browning both of Woonsocket. She was predeceased by her siblings Pauline Sherman, Rita Turcotte, and Ronald Lamoureux. Rachel loved spending time with her boys and extended family and having any excuse to cook and bake. She was an avid reader and faithful Red Sox fan. Anyone that knew her would know that she had the biggest heart and would always be there for you if you needed her.
