Paul Roger Paget 91, of Woonsocket, passed away on May 18, 2023. He was the husband of Claudette (Richer) Paget. Born in Blackstone, MA, he was a son of the late Arthur and Adelaide (Mercier) Paget. Paul was an army veteran and served during the Korean War. He worked at several machine shops including Pratt-Whitney in CT., Whitinsville in MA., and Taft-Pierce in RI. He also moved houses for Home Coal Co., and lastly worked at Nelmor Machine Shop for over thirty years before retiring. Paul was an avid bowler at which he excelled and a struggling golfer who still enjoyed the game. The Red Sox and the New England Patriots gave him much pleasure from their recent achievements. He was also a member of several cribbage and pitch leagues. Besides his wife he leaves his children , Laura Mitchell and her husband Bill of Ohio, Steven Paget and his companion Pat Deziel of Woonsocket and Jill Brundrett and her husband Matthew of CA., sister Terri Smith of Woonsocket, grandchildren Michael, Justin, and Shannon, and great-grandchildren Wyatt, Elijah, Elaina, and Payton. Paul was predeceased by his siblings Raymond Paget, Bertha Bernier, Ella Tessier, and Irene Bonin.
Committal prayers and burial will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery.
