Normand J. Desjardins

Normand J. Desjardins 85, formerly of Fairfield Ave. died Monday, January 18, 2021 in the Friendly Home. He was the loving husband of the late Marie Therese (Bergeron) Desjardins, and step-father to the late Richard A. Croteau. He was the son of the late Ernest and Blanche (Dube) Desjardins. Normand was employed by the City of Woonsocket as a plant maintenance mechanic at the Water Treatment Plant, retiring in 1994.

He is survived by his step-daughter-in-law Jacqueline A. Croteau of Lady Lake, FL, two step-grandchildren: Michael J. Croteau of Blackstone, MA, and Donna Croteau-Connell of Cumberland, and six step-great-grandchildren: LorriAnne Sacco, Samuel Croteau, and Michaela, Julie, Sean, and Adam Connell.

His funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St Agatha’s Church, 34 Joffre St. Woonsocket on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery in Woonsocket.
