Norman R. Raymond

Norman R. Raymond 84, of Woonsocket, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Our lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Helene (Archambault) Raymond. They were married for over fifty-two years. Born in Fall River, Norman was the son of the late Reginald and Rita (Connors) Raymond. He grew up in Providence and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. He worked in Production Control for Texas Instruments for many years. A great lover of people, Norman worked as a greeter at Walmart for several years after his retirement from Texas Instruments. Norman was an avid reader, gardener, and loved his family and his cats. He is survived by His children: Christopher Raymond of DE, and Rebecca Raymond and her husband Lou of West Hartford, CT, his grandchildren, Kathryn and Alexander, and his siblings Martha Nadeau of Portsmouth, RI, and Kathleen Wohlgemuth and her husband Reinhard of East Providence. His funeral with visitation will be held Friday, February 14, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre Ave, Woonsocket. Burial will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA
