May Rose Gorup 84, passed away on September 3, 2021 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. Born in Bangor, ME, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Blanche (Bissonnette) Sheldon. She was a self-employed seamstress and the owner operator of May’s Sewing. May Rose was an accomplished artist and also worked as a cartoonist for DC Comics. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and all sorts of crafts. May Rose was a wonderful and loving woman and will be greatly missed.She is survived by her sons, Ovide “Zip” Cooper of Woonsocket, and Wilfred Gorup of Torrington, CT and a grandson Aaron Gorup. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home are Private.
