Matthew J. Maynard

Matthew J. Maynard 33, of Gilbert St. passed away on October 21, 2021, accidently at work. Born in Woonsocket on February 25, 1988, he was the beloved son of James and Alice (Joly) Maynard. Matt worked for Greenville Ready Mix in Smithfield. He previously had worked for Gert’s Granite and Pezzi Construction. Matt was an upbeat individual who loved to make people laugh. If you were having a bad day, he would try to cheer you up. He was always lending a helping hand to whoever needed it. Matt was always fixing things, he especially enjoyed working on cars. He loved off roading, and woodworking. He was kind and giving and will be greatly missed.

Besides his parents he leaves his fiancée, Fallon Dupre with whom he lived, and the love of his life, his son Damion Maynard of Chepachet. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Henry and Noella (Degre) Joly Sr.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 29, 2021, from 6-8 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, RI.
