Margaret "Peggy" A (Haggerty) Connors

Margaret “Peggy” A. Connors 83, formerly of Morning Star Dr., North Smithfield, RI passed away on October 8, 2023. Born in Springfield, MA, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Bridget (McDonnell) Haggerty. Margaret was a secretary for The ARC of Northern RI for over twenty-seven years. She loved spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and dancing. She was an avid reader and enjoyed passing time doing word searches. Margaret is survived by her sons, Thomas Connors and his wife Linda Kuras of North Smithfield, and Michael Connors and his wife Britt of Concord, MA. She was predeceased by her brother Douglas Haggerty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday October 20, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St., Slatersville, RI. A private burial will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the nursing team and staff at the Friendly Home for the kindness and loving care given to their mother. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
