Margaret M. Thereault

Margaret “Margo” M. Thereault 73, passed away on October 7, 2022, at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Armand “Chip” and Blanche (Grenon) Thereault. Margaret worked as a chambermaid at the former St. James Hotel for many years. Prior to an illness, she worked for the Woonsocket Call as an inserter. She was a member of the Woonsocket Housing Authority Tenant Board.  Margaret was also an avid Doo-wop fan.

She is survived by a daughter Brenda Figueroa of Providence, a son William Thereault of Woonsocket, a sister Patricia of Shrewsbury, MA, three grandchildren Christian and Cheyenne Figueroa and Devan Thereault and one great-grandchild Stella.  Margaret was also the Mother of the late David Thereault. 

Her funeral, with visitation, will be held Friday October 14, 2022, at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket from 10:00-11:00 AM with a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
