Madeline M. (Veader) Smith

Madeline M.  (Veader) Smith 97, passed away Tuesday December 6, 2022, at home. She was born in East Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucille (Veter), Veader. Madeline worked in data entry for Amica Insurance for many years. She enjoyed bowling, making puzzles, and above all, spending time with family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed deeply. Madeline is survived by her sons William Smith and his wife Jerilyn of Woonsocket, and Bruce Smith and his wife Melissa of Glendale, grandchildren, Ian, Heather, and Noella, and great granddaughter Lydia. She was predeceased by her siblings, Joseph Veader, Helen Santos, Evelyn Silva and Lucille Aquaviva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, 183 Sayles Ave, Pascoag. Burial will follow in Acotes Hill Cemetery in Chepachet.
