Obituary

On May 4th, 2023, the world lost an extraordinary woman, Lynne Marie Daigle. She was a beacon of strength, resilience, and compassion, whose life was a testament to the power of love and determination. A beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother, Lynne's legacy will continue to touch the lives of all who knew her.

Lynne was born into a loving family, where she developed her values of hard work, empathy, and independence. She carried these values throughout her life, using them as the foundation for her remarkable journey as a wife and mother.

Lynne was an exceptional wife to her late husband Denis E. Daigle Sr., providing unwavering support to him in all aspects of life. Their love story was one of deep respect, mutual support, and unbroken companionship. Lynne's strength and dedication were the backbone of their relationship, providing a rock-solid foundation even in the most challenging times.

As a mother of two, Denis E. Jr and Eric J. Daigle, Lynne's strength shone through in the way she raised her children. She was not just their mother, but their biggest cheerleader, their guide, and their friend. She nurtured them with unconditional love, fostering their individual strengths and inspiring them to become strong, independent individuals like herself.

Lynne's resilience was truly awe-inspiring. No matter what adversity she faced, she remained unwaveringly strong. Her spirit was indomitable, and her courage was boundless. She demonstrated that strength does not mean the absence of vulnerability, but rather the ability to persevere despite it.

But Lynne was not just a pillar of strength. She had a heart filled with love for her family. Her parents, Doreen and Kenneth Lidstone, siblings, Glenn McDuff and his wife Robin, Ken and Randy Lidstone, Nancy Norton and Michelle McIntyre, daughters-in law, Sarah and Sarah,  grandchildren Layla and Noah were all recipients of her boundless love and care. Her relationships with them were rich and deep, filled with countless shared moments of joy, laughter, and love.

Lynne's legacy is a testament to her strong character, her love for her family, and her resilience in the face of adversity. Even though she is no longer with us physically, her spirit continues to inspire us. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, serving as a constant reminder of the strength, love, and determination that defined her life.

The Daigle family would like to express their gratitude to all those who have reached out during this difficult time. Your love, support, and warm memories of Lynne are a source of comfort and strength.

A celebration of Lynne's life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket, RI at 9:00 AM with a service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Children’s hospital in Lynne's name, as a tribute to her spirit of giving and love for others.

Rest in peace, Lynne Marie Daigle. You have left an indelible mark on this world and will be deeply missed.  In heaven you will meet your beloved husband and grandson Noah.
