Lucille Ducharme Obituary

Lucille C. Ducharme 86, formerly of Winthrop St., passed away Monday, January 15, 2024, at The Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Russell M. Ducharme. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Alice (Ferrone) Auger. Lucille was a senior clerk typist at Woonsocket City Hall for fifteen years, she also worked for the Board of Canvassers and the Public Works Department in Woonsocket before retiring in 1972. Lucille was a lifetime member of the Blackstone Valley Association for the Blind. She loved gardening and traveling with her husband Russell.

Lucille is survived by her nephews, John Goyette and his wife Carol, David Ducharme and his wife Sue all of Woonsocket, Mark Ducharme/Lane and husband Steven of Foxboro, and Brian and Jude Ducharme Golden of FL, a sister Rachel Francoeur and a niece Michelle Francoeur both of AZ, and several great nephews and nieces. Lucille was predeceased by her niece Doreen Goyette.

Her funeral with visitation will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
