Lucien G. Lamoureux Jr.

Lucien “Chip” G. Lamoureux Jr. 69, died February 15, 2018 at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jeannine (Raiche) Lamoureux. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Lucien and Rolande (Sene) Lamoureux Sr. Chip was a laborer for several area construction companies including Dimeo Construction and the Ferland Corp. for many years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Blackstone Valley Beagle’s Club. He also enjoyed bowling and traveling, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife his children; Jace Lamoureux of Daytona Beach, FL, Christie Lamoureux and Kasey Fontaine both of Woonsocket, and Allyson Tetreault of Holiday, FL; a brother Ronald Lamoureux of Raleigh, NC; a sister Lucienne Dalpe of Woonsocket, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. The family will receive guests at church beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donation to Smile Train, PO Box 96231, Washington, DC 20090-6231 in his memory would be appreciated.
