Lorraine M. (Bibeault) Robidoux, 91, of Woodland Rd. passed away on September 18, 2021, at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Rene O. Robidoux (d.,1970). Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Aurele J. and Cecile L. (Brodeur) Bibeault. Lorraine was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant for forty years. She also taught accounting at various colleges and universities, including at Salve Regina University where she held a tenured position for 10 years. Lorraine graduated from St. Claire High School, the valedictorian of her class. She received a BA in French from Saint Elizabeth University, Morristown, NJ, and later an MBA and MST from Bryant University, Smithfield, RI.
Throughout her life, Lorraine was committed to learning, traveling, gardening, and singing in the church choir. She was deeply devoted to her church and volunteered throughout her life at Our Lady of Victories Church and later at All Saints Church in Woonsocket, RI. She played tennis in her youth and bocce as a senior.
Lorraine was the beloved mother of Monique Robidoux of Scarsdale, NY; John R. Robidoux and his wife Marjorie of Webster, MA; and Charlotte A. Robidoux and her husband Ronald Chapdelaine of Warwick, RI. She is also survived by her sister Suzanne Hebert of Cumberland, RI; grandchildren, Brian A. Mulvehill and his wife Nicole of Hudson, MA; Katherine L. Wright and her husband Keith of Cumberland, RI; and Rachel R. Robidoux of Woonsocket, RI, and great-grandchildren Jordyn M., Kylee S., and Keith B. Wright; and Ava R., and Evan J. Mulvehill. She was predeceased by her brother Maurice Bibeault (d., 1999) of Pawtucket, RI, and by her dear longtime friend Edward Cummings (d., 2018) of Woonsocket, RI.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 10:00 AM at All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery.
