Lisa M (Lafontaine) Staknis

Lisa M. Staknis 52, of Mendon Rd. passed away on February 13, 2023, at Oakland Grove Health Care Center. She was the wife of Earl Staknis. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Rachel (Lajoie) Lafontaine. Lisa worked in the laundry department of Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center for over twenty years. She loved going to concerts and was a huge Nascar, WWE, and Patriots fan.

Besides her husband, Lisa is survived by her sister Carol McDonald and her husband Robert of Woonsocket. She was predeceased by a brother Gerald Lafontaine.

A Committal Service and burial will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Chapel at Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.
