Linda M (Giguere) Payette

Linda Payette 77, of Bluestone Dr. passed away on May 30, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Gerard R Payette with whom she would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on June 3rd. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Conrad and Lucy (Bilodeau) Giguere. Linda worked for Landmark Medical Center in the Dietary Department for several years. She then worked for Nys Florist as a salesclerk for twenty-five years until their closing. Linda loved entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed doing word puzzles and watching game shows. She also loved her cats Blackstone and The Girl.

Besides her husband she leaves her cherished son Gerard R Payette II and his fiancé Roxanne Masterson of Woonsocket, and a sister Eileen Provoyeur also of Woonsocket. Linda was predeceased by two sisters, Theresa Walsh and Rita Belisle.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday June 5, 2024, at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Precious Blood Church, Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 4-7 PM.
