Lillian A. (DiBasco) Gelinas

Lillian A. Gelinas 69, of Winter St. passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at Landmark Medical Center. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Claudio and Loretta (Lambert) DiBasco. Lillian was a school bus driver for the City of Woonsocket for fifteen years, she also worked at Shaw’s Meats before retiring. Lillian was an avid bingo player and enjoyed going to the beach. Her greatest joy was attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Lillian is survived by her sons Robert Gelinas and his wife Kristen DiChiaro of Burrillville, and Michael Gelinas of Woonsocket, her companion Ralph Small of Woonsocket, siblings, Roland and Gloria DiBasco both of Woonsocket and Jeannette DiBasco of Providence, and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings Johnny, Roger, George, Jeanne, Pauline, Pat, and Rena.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Face masks are required, and social distancing guidelines will be observed.
