Laurie A. Egan 60, of Chu Kain Dr. passed away on December 18, 2024, at home. She was the wife of Neil Moran. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Vivian Dussault of Woonsocket and the late William T. Egan. Laurie was a Certified Medical Technician for many years, most recently at Briarcliff Gardens in Johnston. She loved music and going to concerts. She also enjoyed scuba diving, gardening, and hiking.
Besides her husband and mother, she leaves her son, Justin Egan of North Providence, and stepchildren, John Moran of Denver CO, Jessica Moran of Gloucester, MA, and Jacqueline Fernet of Cohoes, NY, grandchildren, Lily and Logan, step-father Gennariano D’Onofrio of Woonsocket, siblings Michael Egan of Jamestown, and Julie Sheehan of Myrtle Beach, SC, , and aunt Ann Gagnon of Jamestown and stepsisters Kimberley of Salado, TX, and Kerry Yashar of Framingham, MA
Visiting hours will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4-6PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory would be appreciated.
